Assume children, families, or people in public places may hear the conversation. Avoid profanity, explicit content, graphic material, and obscene jokes.
Keep individual transmissions reasonably brief, pause between transmissions, and avoid dominating the group for extended periods.
Wait briefly after another member releases the push-to-talk button. A short pause helps account for network delay and gives others an opportunity to speak.
Do not repeatedly key without speaking, play disruptive audio, transmit excessive background noise, create feedback, or deliberately interfere with activities.
Do not disclose another person’s address, telephone number, email, workplace, exact location, family information, account details, or private conversations.
Normal product discussion is welcome. Repeated advertising, solicitation, fundraising, or customer recruitment requires administrator approval.
Politics, religion, news, and social issues may be discussed when the conversation remains civil. Hosts may redirect or end a disruptive topic.
During scheduled activities, wait to be recognized, keep comments related to the topic, and respect reasonable time limits.
Stop routine conversation when a member reports an immediate safety issue. Contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service directly.
Each member must configure their Poclink radio to display their actual name or a recognizable nickname when transmitting. This allows other members to know who is speaking. Do not use a misleading name or impersonate another member, administrator, organization, or public official.
Administrators may remind, warn, restrict, or remove members based on conduct. Severe threats, harassment, or deliberate disruption may result in immediate removal.
